Position Overview: Welder
As a Welder at Brilliance Executive Management, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, and executing precise welds to meet project specifications. You will select appropriate welding methods and equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, ensuring all work complies with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities in Welder Jobs in Lusaka
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding specifications accurately.
- Set up and operate various welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal welding conditions.
- Perform welding in multiple positions including flat, vertical, and overhead.
- Inspect welds to verify quality and adherence to project requirements.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment through regular checks and routine maintenance.

- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Qualifications and Experience
- Craft Certificate in Welding is required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in welding or a similar role.
- Proficient in operating welding machines including spot, butt, seam resistance, gas, and arc welding equipment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and designs.
- Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing precise, quality work.
- Physical stamina to work in various positions and challenging environments.
- Thorough understanding of welding safety standards and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
