Position Overview: Warehouse Supervisors Jobs in Ndola

As a Warehouse Supervisor based in Ndola, you will be responsible for supervising a workforce of approximately 100 employees and ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse activities. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining inventory accuracy, controlling operational costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods
• Supervise and coordinate a team of around 100 employees to maximize productivity
• Maintain accurate inventory control and stock records
• Monitor operational costs and implement measures to improve efficiency
• Oversee weighbridge operations ensuring precise and timely reporting
• Prepare detailed operational reports and maintain documentation
• Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and procedural standards
• Drive performance management initiatives to enhance workforce effectiveness

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in warehouse and operations management
• Strong understanding of inventory control systems and cost management
• Experience with weighbridge operations is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
