About the Volunteer Unit Coordinator Jobs Remote

As a Volunteer Unit Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing activities within your assigned unit, facilitating effective communication among volunteers, and assisting with scheduling and planning. This volunteer opportunity is ideal for those who seek meaningful involvement in human rights work while developing leadership and coordination skills.

The available positions are distributed across five key departments:

  • Health & Disability Unit (1 Position)
  • Legal Research & Documentation Unit (1 Position)
  • Advocacy & Programs Unit (1 Position)
  • Volunteer Engagement Unit (1 Position)
  • Media & Communications Unit (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities of Volunteer Unit Coordinators

  • Coordinate communication and information flow within the assigned unit.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, engagements, and departmental activities.
  • Maintain calendars and monitor deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Follow up on action points and support task completion.
  • Assist in planning and implementing projects and campaigns.
  • Collaborate effectively with other coordinators, volunteers, and organizational leadership.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in human rights, advocacy, public health, legal research, communications, or community development.
  • Previous experience in leadership, coordination, volunteer management, advocacy, research, communications, media, or health-related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
