About the Tracking Control Intern Role

As a Tracking Control Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our fleet management system. Your primary focus will be to monitor and track shipments and fleet vehicles using advanced tracking software, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities for Tracking Control Intern Jobs in Ndola

• Monitor real-time status and movement of shipments and fleet trucks using company tracking systems.
• Provide timely and accurate updates on shipment progress and fleet movements to clients and internal teams.
• Identify and resolve operational issues or delays by liaising with drivers, escorts, carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date tracking records and fleet movement data.
• Collaborate with the operations team to enhance tracking procedures and improve overall efficiency.
• Prepare and submit detailed tracking and performance reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant logistics, transportation, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Diploma in Transport and Logistics.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Proficiency with tracking systems and software.
• Detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to accuracy.
