Available Teaching Positions
1. Teacher of Business Studies and Commerce – Secondary Section
- Manage and nurture a Business Studies and Commerce class, fostering holistic student development.
- Collaborate with Head Teacher and staff to ensure effective teaching and learning.
- Plan and deliver a challenging, differentiated curriculum and lessons.
- Develop professional skills through seminars, conferences, and CPDs.
- Maintain student discipline and enforce school regulations.
- Create inquiry-based learning environments that promote critical thinking.
- Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance classroom learning.
- Provide timely assessments and constructive feedback.
- Engage effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Support pastoral care and participate in extra-curricular activities.
2. Teacher of Chemistry and Biology/Physics – Secondary Section
- Lead Chemistry and Biology/Physics classes, supporting students’ overall growth.
- Enhance learning through practical work, experiments, and demonstrations.
- Ensure safe laboratory practices and equipment use.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback.
- Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute to curriculum development and resource planning.
- Support science clubs, STEM initiatives, and enrichment programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and pastoral teams.
3. Teacher – Primary Section
- Take responsibility for a primary class, supporting holistic student development.
- Work closely with colleagues and Head Teacher to deliver effective teaching.
- Plan and implement a rigorous, differentiated curriculum and lessons.
- Create inquiry-based learning environments fostering critical thinking and respect.
- Leverage digital tools and relevant resources to support learning.
- Develop assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Communicate professionally with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Provide pastoral support and actively participate in extra-curricular programs.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 credits.
- Bachelor of Education – Primary for Primary Teacher role.
- Bachelor of Business Studies with Education for Business Studies Teacher role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education specializing in Chemistry and Biology/Physics for Science Teacher role, with capability to teach up to A-Level.
- Registration as a qualified teacher with The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) and a valid practicing license.
- Familiarity with ECZ and Cambridge assessment systems.
- At least three years of teaching experience.
- Strong oral and written communication, presentation, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism, compassion, and flexibility.
