About the Role: Supervisor Rotables Jobs in Kalumbila

As Supervisor of the Rotables Team, you will oversee the entire Core Returns Process, managing all incoming and outgoing rotable and core-related activities. This includes purchasing, dispatching, receiving, adjudication, and sourcing, requiring strong technical knowledge and expertise in procurement of supplies, equipment, and services.

The position demands proactive leadership to maintain operational efficiency, cost control, and supplier relations to support maintenance and planning functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain KPIs for the Rotables and Core section to monitor performance.
• Ensure weekly re-ordering of rotables to maintain inventory levels.
• Oversee quoting, failure analysis reports (FARs), and stripping functions related to rotables.
• Review and approve quotes and FARs submitted by end users.
• Process all priority (P1) orders and emergency repairs promptly.
• Facilitate clear communication with end users to prevent component errors.
• Monitor and compile non-compliance forms for all rotables orders.
• Maximize use of in-house stock to reduce repair costs.
• Escalate pending purchase order approvals to avoid bottlenecks.
• Generate high-level reports to support planning and maintenance teams.
• Participate in planning meetings and provide feedback to end users and warehousing.
• Collaborate with Inventory and Warehousing teams on storage and handling to prevent damage.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and continuously evaluate supplier standards.
• Ensure rotables inventory accuracy and manage item transfers between warehouses.
• Produce internal and vendor-specific reports, including weekly Work-In-Progress updates.
• Oversee purchase order follow-ups and expedite as necessary.
• Verify invoice accuracy and compliance with contract pricing.
• Manage procurement records and address unauthorized purchases.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Competencies and Experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Software and logistics practices.
• Knowledge of component storage, packing, and warehouse receiving procedures.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
• General mechanical components knowledge and their applications.
• Procurement expertise and ability to interpret and analyze data.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Pronto, SAP, or equivalents.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Minimum CIPs Level 3 Qualification.
• Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
