As a Strategic Education Advisor in Lusaka, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing projects that are relevant, scalable, and impactful. Your expertise will guide VVOB and its partners through strategic advice aligned with the latest educational research, policy trends, and international development thinking.

Key Responsibilities for Strategic Education Advisor Jobs in Lusaka

• Develop and design education projects in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Provide short- and long-term strategic guidance to VVOB and partner organisations, ensuring alignment with current educational policies and research.
• Offer authoritative advice on instructional models, learning progressions, and the integration of remedial and core teaching approaches.
• Engage in capacity development activities tailored to programme phases and partner needs.
• Build and maintain partnerships and networks with relevant stakeholders, institutions, and organisations.
• Lead strategic and instructional efforts across VVOB’s portfolio to guarantee the coherence, quality, and sustainability of foundational literacy and numeracy interventions.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Master’s degree in education, development studies, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Zambian education system and sector dynamics.
• Experience with recent developments and trends in the relevant education domain.
• Proven skills in programme and project development, including change management.
• Experience in organisational and institutional capacity building.
• Applicants must be Zambian nationals.
