Key Responsibilities for Storeman Tire Section Jobs in Ndola
- Receive, issue, and maintain accurate records of tires and related inventory items.
- Monitor tire movement, usage, and stock levels to ensure proper accountability and availability.
- Perform regular stock counts and promptly reconcile any discrepancies found.
- Ensure all tires are correctly tagged, stored safely, and tracked within the inventory system.
- Coordinate with workshop and fleet departments to facilitate timely tire replacements and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment at all times.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive inventory reports to management as required.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Certificate or Diploma in Stores Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience working as a storeman within a logistics or transport company.
- Proven expertise in managing tires and associated stock for trucks and fleet operations.
- Strong attention to detail paired with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
