About the Role – Stock Clerk Jobs Remote Zambia

As a Stock Clerk, you will play a vital role in receiving, storing, issuing, loading, and offloading stock while maintaining precise inventory records. You will collaborate closely with the Depot Manager and Stock Controller to guarantee that all stock movements are properly documented and that storage areas remain organized and secure. Your efforts will help safeguard company stock against loss or damage, supporting overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming stock against delivery documents to ensure accuracy.
• Load and offload stock safely and efficiently in compliance with company procedures.
• Store stock in designated warehouse locations, maintaining organization and order.
• Pick and issue stock according to approved documentation.
• Record all stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns accurately and promptly.
• Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts as well as periodic stock takes.
• Report any damaged, missing, expired, or excess stock immediately to supervisors.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and secure warehouse and storage environments.
• Support stock transfers between depots and warehouses as required.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of agricultural inputs to minimize losses and damage.
• Comply with inventory control procedures and health and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management to support operational goals.

Qualifications and Competencies for Stock Clerk Jobs Remote Zambia

• Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least five credits.
• Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehousing, Business Administration, or related fields is advantageous.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in warehouse operations, stock handling, or inventory management.
• Basic understanding of warehouse and stock control procedures.
• Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong numerical skills and meticulous record-keeping abilities.
• High levels of honesty, integrity, and accountability.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
