Available Positions and Role Details

1. Electrical Technician (2 vacancies)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and installations.

Core Competencies:

  • Expertise in PV array wiring, inverter systems, and AC/DC distribution networks.
  • Proficient in fault-finding and testing using multimeters, insulation testers, and earth testing equipment.
  • Ability to work safely at heights and comply with electrical codes.
  • Skilled in interpreting wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and maintain solar energy systems at various sites.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis and site surveys to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Prepare and complete installation documentation and handover reports.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers and clients throughout project phases.

2. Electronic Engineer (1 vacancy)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience working with solar system electronics, including inverters, power electronics, control systems, and instrumentation.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong skills in circuit design and electronic analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of inverter and Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technologies.
  • Experience with embedded systems or programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Proficient in testing, diagnostics, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and support electronic control and monitoring systems for solar installations.
  • Lead complex fault diagnosis and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Optimize system performance to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Prepare technical reports and assist in commissioning activities.

3. Electromechanical Technician (1 vacancy)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electromechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience working with solar or related electromechanical systems, such as mounting structures, trackers, motors, pumps, and inverters.

Core Competencies:

  • Proficient in mechanical assembly and electrical connections.
  • Experienced in preventative maintenance and fault-finding for mechanical and electrical components.
  • Competent in the safe use of tools and lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain mechanical and electromechanical components of solar systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and support site commissioning and repair activities.
  • Ensure equipment integrity and maintain a safe working environment.
