As the Site Health Quality & Compliance Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all site health services meet Mary Begg Health Services (MBHS) standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Quality Assurance Manager to maintain audit readiness and drive continuous quality improvement. This position demands a detail-oriented self-starter with excellent administrative discipline, sound clinical judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Coordinate quality assurance activities, conduct facility audits, monitor compliance with regulatory bodies such as HPCZ, NMCZ, and ZAMRA, track audit findings, and prepare monthly compliance reports.
  • Occupational Health Facility Oversight: Conduct inspections to ensure facilities are safe, compliant, and operationally ready; maintain equipment and certification registers; coordinate maintenance and procurement follow-ups.
  • SHE and QHSE Focal Point: Support implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies; monitor workplace safety; prepare HSE reports; and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Infection Prevention and Control: Implement infection control policies, conduct audits, monitor hygiene practices, support outbreak investigations, and educate staff on infection prevention.
  • Administrative Support to the Chief Medical Officer: Manage staffing documentation, coordinate rosters and leave schedules, support onboarding, and maintain accurate records and filing systems.
  • Document Control and Administration: Ensure compliance with administrative policies, maintain registers, support accreditation and licensing activities, and manage office supplies.
  • Customer Service and Professional Conduct: Uphold professional and empathetic interactions with patients and stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, and act as a role model for MBHS values.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified health professional with relevant administrative, quality assurance, or healthcare compliance experience.
  • Additional qualifications in healthcare administration are advantageous.
  • Current professional registration and licence to practise with HPCZ and/or NMCZ.
  • Minimum of 6 years clinical practice and at least 2 years in healthcare quality assurance, audits, clinical leadership, compliance, or healthcare operations.
  • Experience in occupational health, emergency care, or healthcare facility accreditation is a plus.
