About the Security Officer Role

We have two vacancies for Security Officers who will play a crucial role in protecting our company’s property, employees, visitors, and assets. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant monitoring, access control, and prompt response to any security incidents.

Key Responsibilities for Security Officer Jobs in Kalulushi

• Protect company premises, personnel, and property from theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Control entry by verifying identification and authorizing access to the facility.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter and detect suspicious activities.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and report any irregularities immediately.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches.
• Maintain detailed records of daily security activities and prepare incident reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum educational requirement: Grade 12 Certificate.
• Certificate in Security Studies or related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Security Officer is preferred.
• Physically fit and in good health to perform security duties.
• Demonstrated high level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
• Strong observation skills, effective communication, and report writing abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and act appropriately during emergencies.
• Clean criminal record is mandatory.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
