Position Overview

The Security Guard Supervisor will be responsible for managing guard deployment, attendance, discipline, and performance across multiple sites. This role requires a firm and confident leader who can enforce company policies, address operational challenges promptly, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction through effective supervision.

Key Responsibilities for Security Guard Supervisor Jobs in Lusaka

• Guard Supervision & Deployment: Ensure all sites are staffed around the clock, verify guard attendance before shifts, enforce uniform standards, and conduct surprise inspections.
• Discipline & Conduct Management: Enforce rules regarding absenteeism, intoxication, punctuality, and uniform compliance. Issue warnings and recommend disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Training & Performance Monitoring: Orient new guards on duties and policies, coach on customer service and patrol techniques, and maintain consistent discipline and performance standards.
• Reporting & Communication: Submit daily reports on attendance, site conditions, and any incidents. Coordinate with operations and address client concerns professionally and promptly.
• Operational Leadership: Optimize guard deployment to minimize transport costs, prioritize guards living near sites, monitor conduct post-payday, and support investigations into misconduct.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate (complete secondary education)
• Basic computer literacy
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in security supervision
• Additional academic qualifications in security operations or management are an advantage
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to enforce discipline and operational control
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Physically fit and mentally stable
• No criminal record
• Preferred age range: 28 to 50 years
