Key Responsibilities for Security Guard Supervisor Jobs in Lusaka

• Guard Supervision & Deployment: Ensure all security sites are staffed day and night, verify guard attendance and uniform compliance, promptly replace absentees, and conduct unannounced site inspections.
• Discipline & Conduct Management: Enforce company policies regarding absenteeism, intoxication, punctuality, and uniform standards. Issue warnings and recommend disciplinary actions as necessary. Prevent guards from sleeping on duty or abandoning posts.
• Training & Performance Monitoring: Provide training to new guards on duties, conduct, and company policies. Coach team members in customer service, patrol procedures, communication, and alertness to maintain high performance levels.
• Reporting & Communication: Submit daily reports detailing attendance, operational challenges, and site conditions. Report misconduct or emergencies promptly and coordinate with the operations team before implementing changes.
• Operational Leadership: Optimize guard deployment to minimize transport costs, prioritize guards residing near deployment sites, monitor behavior post-payday, and assist with investigations related to misconduct or site issues.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Basic computer literacy
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in security supervision
• Academic qualifications in security operations or management are an advantage
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to enforce discipline confidently and reliably
• Clear communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Physically fit and mentally stable
• Clean criminal record
• Preferred age range: 28 to 50 years
