Key Responsibilities for Sales Representative Jobs in Lusaka

• Sales & Customer Service: Welcome and assist customers in-store, offer product information and recommendations, and achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
• Process transactions accurately, including payments, returns, and exchanges.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
• Stock & Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Receive and inspect new merchandise, maintain store cleanliness, and uphold visual merchandising standards.
• Track inventory movements and report any discrepancies, damages, or losses promptly.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales and stock reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Identify sales trends and provide actionable insights to management to optimize performance.
• Online Client Support: Respond promptly to online inquiries via email, WhatsApp, social media, and other digital channels.
• Manage online orders, coordinate deliveries or collections, and maintain consistent brand experience across platforms.
• Update online product listings and support basic e-commerce operations.
• General Operations: Assist with store opening and closing procedures and participate in promotional and marketing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related fields, or equivalent experience, along with a Grade 12 certificate.
• One to three years of retail sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with online customer support or e-commerce operations is highly advantageous.
