This full-time role is ideal for candidates with relevant academic qualifications and practical experience in agronomy or agriculture. The successful applicant will play a key role in driving sales of seeds, fertilizers, crop protection products, and other agronomic offerings, while fostering strong relationships with farmers, agro-dealers, and agricultural stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell a range of agronomy products including seeds, fertilizers, and crop protection solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, commercial growers, agro-dealers, and other agricultural partners.
• Conduct field visits to provide technical advice on crop management and agronomic best practices.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand the customer portfolio.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and provide market intelligence updates.
• Organize and participate in product demonstrations, field days, and promotional campaigns.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to business growth initiatives.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in agronomy, agricultural sales, crop production, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of crop production processes, fertilizers, seeds, and crop protection products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Possession of a valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
• Must be based in Lusaka or willing to relocate.
