Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining positive relationships with customers to maximize sales and promote Natkos Distributors Limited’s products and services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Presenting, promoting, and selling products and services to both existing and prospective customers using persuasive and well-informed arguments
• Providing supervisors with detailed reports on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitor activities, and opportunities for new products or services
• Ensuring daily customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly
• Keeping up to date with industry best practices and promotional trends to enhance sales strategies
• Analyzing customer feedback and conducting cost-benefit and needs assessments to better meet client demands
• Collaborating with team members and other departments to coordinate sales efforts and track market potential
• Achieving agreed sales targets within set schedules
• Adhering to company policies and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers
• Submitting monthly sales and activity reports by the 5th of each month
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workplace
• Performing any additional duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Full Grade 12 certificate
• Certificate or Diploma in Business or a related field
• At least one year of practical experience in sales or a related area is an added advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
