About the Safety Officer Role in Chingola

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards at our mining site located strategically between Chingola and Chililabombwe, just 10 minutes from the main tarmac road. This full-time position includes accommodation within the company housing compound, providing a convenient and secure living environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safety procedures in mining operations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure safety compliance during daily activities.
• Report safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate safety policies effectively, utilizing knowledge of the Chinese language to liaise with relevant stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working in mining operations or production environments.
• Basic proficiency in the Chinese language.
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
• Ability to live on-site within the company housing compound.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive monthly net salary ranging from 15,000 ZMW to 20,000 ZMW. Accommodation is provided within the mining compound, ensuring comfortable and secure living arrangements close to the workplace.
