About the Role: Rotables Specialist Jobs in Kalumbila

Reporting to the Coordinator Rotables – HME, you will manage the entire lifecycle of rotatable components used in Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME). Your responsibilities will include tracking, repair coordination, commercial review of repair quotations, inventory accuracy, and ensuring the availability of rotables to support maintenance operations. You will play a key role in optimizing component management to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Oversee tracking, repair, replacement, refurbishment, and disposal of HME rotatable components.
  • Monitor movements of components between service, repair vendors, warehouses, laydown, and operational sites.
  • Analyze repair costs by comparing current values with historical data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate repair and overhaul activities with OEMs and approved vendors to ensure timely turnaround.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, Pronto, Ellipse, or Oracle.
  • Collaborate with maintenance planners to forecast rotables requirements for shutdowns and preventative maintenance.

Candidate Requirements for Rotables Specialist Jobs in Kalumbila

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate a strong background in rotables management and related fields, combined with hands-on experience in commercial and inventory control activities.

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in rotable management, supply chain, commercial coordination, or mining equipment maintenance.
  • Proven expertise in reviewing repair quotations, cost analysis, and managing outstanding orders.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, controlling repair costs, and monitoring turnaround times.
  • Proficiency with ERP/CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Pronto, Ellipse, Oracle) for inventory and reporting.
  • Possession of a valid unrestricted Class B driver’s license.
