Tauro Mining Ltd is currently recruiting for experienced riggers and multi-skilled operators jobs in Solwezi to join its team at the Kansanshi Mine in Northwestern Zambia. These full-time roles are critical to the safe and efficient handling of lifting, hoisting, and earthmoving operations supporting the mining activities.

Available Positions

• Riggers: 2 positions
• Multi-Skilled Operators: 2 positions (operating TLB, Excavator, and Loader)

Key Responsibilities for Riggers and Multi-Skilled Operators Jobs in Solwezi

Riggers

• Set up and operate rigging equipment to safely lift heavy loads.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure rigging gear complies with safety standards.
• Strictly follow company and mine safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, machine operators, and other team members to complete assigned tasks.

Multi-Skilled Operators

• Operate assigned machinery including TLB, Excavator, and Loader for site-specific tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and report any irregularities promptly to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures established by the company and mine management.

Candidate Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Silicosis Certificate.
• Valid EIZ Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in rigging, preferably within mining or heavy industry sectors.
• Possession of a valid rigging certification or an equivalent qualification.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in challenging environments.
• Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
