Key Responsibilities for Restaurant Manager Jobs in Livingstone

• Oversee and manage restaurant operations to ensure consistently high service standards.
• Support the smooth functioning of the food and beverage department, delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Lead, coach, and develop the restaurant team to enhance performance and guest satisfaction.
• Proactively address guest inquiries and concerns to improve overall satisfaction and comfort.
• Achieve departmental objectives related to food & beverage initiatives and hotel targets.
• Manage departmental budgets, controlling costs and inventory while maximizing productivity.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across departments.
• Implement programs to elevate service standards, profitability, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and internal audit requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 School Certificate required.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in food and beverage service within a hotel environment.
• Verified qualifications by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA), including Certificate of Verification and Evaluation.
• Strong managerial, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in reservation systems such as Opera or Micros and Microsoft Office.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and creative approach to service challenges.
• Integrity and dedication to excellence in a dynamic hospitality setting.
• Experience with IT systems across multiple platforms.
