Role Overview for Restaurant Fulfillment Coordinator Jobs in Lusaka
As the Orders & Payments Officer, you will be responsible for managing customer orders received through our partner platform at the JCS location. Your role will ensure timely and accurate order placement, coordination with restaurant partners and delivery riders, and daily financial reconciliation to support smooth operations and accurate settlements.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Management & Processing: Receive and promptly place orders with partner restaurants, pay at point of sale using the company digital wallet, and verify item availability before confirming orders.
- Quality Control & Attention to Detail: Ensure all utensils, packaging, and add-ons are included; inspect orders to confirm they match customer requests; and verify spill-proof packaging and proper thermal storage until pickup.
- Coordination with Riders: Facilitate immediate handover of orders to assigned drivers, communicate with kitchen staff to expedite orders close to SLA limits, and serve as the primary contact for delivery-related issues.
- Payments Handling (Mobile Money): Execute accurate payments to restaurants via mobile money wallet, safeguard funds, and promptly report discrepancies.
- Daily Reconciliation & Record Keeping: Submit daily reports detailing orders, spend, and discrepancies; monitor pickup times; reconcile balances and records; and support weekly settlement preparations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate; diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Hospitality, or related field is advantageous
- Preferred experience in operations, retail, hospitality, or logistics
- Familiarity with mobile money transactions is a plus
