About the Response Driver Role

As a Response Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of cargo by promptly responding to security incidents on designated northbound and southbound routes. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the deployment of security escort personnel while maintaining high standards of professionalism and alertness in a fast-paced environment. This position is a full-time, 1-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent placement, reporting directly to the Security Operations Coordinator.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Zambian Driving Licence held for over five years with a clean driving record.
• At least two years of professional driving experience with a reputable company, preferably in security, emergency response, or logistics sectors.
• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and make decisive decisions under pressure.
• Comprehensive knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
• Availability to work extended hours, including weekends and night shifts.
• Physically fit, vigilant, and detail-oriented.
• Basic understanding of security protocols is an advantage.
