About the Role – Regional Commercial Manager Jobs Remote
As a Regional Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational, administrative, and strategic management of all depots within your assigned region. Your primary focus will be executing effective sales strategies, managing stock efficiently, and ensuring smooth depot operations while strictly adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
You will play a crucial role in implementing and monitoring government-supported initiatives such as the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) and Farmer Support Programme (FSP). Your efforts will strengthen our market presence and drive revenue growth across the region.
This position demands accountability for protecting company assets, leading and developing depot teams, and maintaining operational excellence to safeguard the company’s commercial interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive commercial performance and sales growth across depots in your region.
- Oversee stock management to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Lead, motivate, and develop depot teams to achieve operational targets.
- Implement government-supported programmes such as FISP and FSP effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and report on financial performance.
- Safeguard company stock and physical assets within the region.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with at least five (5) credits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar commercial or sales management role, preferably as an Area Sales Manager.
- Proven track record in commercial operations and sales management.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of commercial processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
- Competent in strategic execution, reporting, and problem-solving.
- Budget preparation and financial management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with the agribusiness sector is highly advantageous.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced working environment.
- High standards of integrity and professionalism.
Additional Skills and Advantages
- Knowledge of government systems such as ZIAMIS.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Sage.
