About the Role – Quantity Surveyor Jobs in Lusaka
As a Quantity Surveyor at Jaeger Group of Companies Limited, you will play a critical role in managing project costs and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the construction process. Your expertise will support accurate budgeting, cost control, and subcontractor evaluation, contributing directly to the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction projects
- Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets to guide project planning
- Monitor ongoing project costs to maintain cost efficiency and control
- Evaluate subcontractor work and manage payment valuations effectively
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of tender documentation
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of construction processes and cost control mechanisms
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing BOQs, quotations, and cost estimates
- Experience managing subcontractors and conducting valuations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
