About the Role: Quantity Surveyor Jobs in Chilanga

As a Quantity Surveyor at Steenbok Construction Limited, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and contractual administration of our projects. The successful candidate will lead tendering processes, conduct precise measurements of works completed, and monitor project budgets to ensure financial objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Tendering & Estimation: Lead tender responses, perform comprehensive project assessments, and prepare accurate quotations.
• Measurement & Valuation: Conduct precise measurements of completed works and prepare interim and final payment claims.
• Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and cash flow rigorously to meet financial targets.
• Procurement Support: Facilitate material procurement and develop detailed project material schedules.
• Contract Administration: Provide expert financial and contractual guidance to the project team to ensure compliance and maximize value.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience within the construction industry.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Project.
• Software Knowledge: Familiarity with CAD software.
• Identification: Valid National Registration Card (NRC).
• Driving License: A clean driving license is an added advantage.
• Attributes: Highly organized, commercially aware, and flexible to work hours to meet project deadlines.
