About the Role: Project Manager Jobs in Kitwe

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from inception through to completion. You will lead teams of construction workers, subcontractors, and site staff while maintaining strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety regulations. Your role will involve close collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project plans to schedule deliverables and accurately estimate costs.
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and site personnel effectively.
• Monitor project progress, prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders, and proactively manage risks.
• Ensure all on-site activities comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project success.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing certificate and current membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) – proof required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is an advantage.
