About the Procurement Coordinator Role

As a Procurement Coordinator at Reliant Mining, you will manage the entire procurement cycle, ensuring efficient and compliant purchasing activities. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining smooth supply chain operations by coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, from Request for Quotation (RFQ) through to Purchase Order (PO) issuance
• Monitor requisitions closely to identify and resolve any delays or bottlenecks
• Engage with suppliers to obtain quotations, place orders, and oversee timely deliveries
• Ensure strict adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and approval workflows
• Track and evaluate supplier performance, reporting any deviations to management

Key Qualifications and Experience for Procurement Coordinator Jobs in Zambia

Candidates should possess a strong educational background and relevant professional credentials, along with practical experience in mining procurement.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing & Supply, Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Valid ZIPS License and active membership
• At least three years of procurement experience within the mining industry
• Deep understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques
• Familiarity with INCOTERMS 2010 and 2020 editions
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively

Preferred Additional Skills

• Qualifications in Data Science or Supply Chain Analytics
• Demonstrated success in high-performance supply chain roles
