About Family Legacy and the Role

As a Primary School Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum while fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities for Primary School Teacher Jobs in Lusaka

• Plan and deliver lessons that engage students and promote academic excellence.
• Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and interventions.
• Promote effective English communication and integrate Christian values and social-emotional learning.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports student wellbeing and positive behaviour.
• Uphold Family Legacy’s Child Safeguarding Policy and participate in related training.

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance teaching and learning.
• Support examination administration and maintain comprehensive academic documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate and a Degree in Primary Education.
• Valid registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in a primary school setting.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, faith-based environment.
• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
