About the Primary Assistant Teacher Role

As a Primary Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom instruction and enhancing student learning experiences. You will collaborate closely with the class teacher to plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that meet diverse learner needs. Key Responsibilities for Primary Assistant Teacher Jobs in Lusaka

• Collaborate with the class teacher in lesson planning, preparation, and providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute ideas and strategies for upcoming units and topics to enrich the curriculum.
• Understand and engage with daily and weekly lesson plans to ensure smooth classroom delivery.
• Prepare the classroom environment at the start of each day according to the planned lessons.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Primary Education.
• Special Needs qualification is an advantage.
• Valid registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) is mandatory.
• Strong classroom management and student assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
