About the Poultry Attendant Role

Reporting directly to the Farm Supervisor, successful candidates will be responsible for the daily management and care of poultry. Your duties will contribute to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and farm hygiene, supporting overall production efficiency. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining biosecurity and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities for Poultry Attendant Jobs in Ndola

• Feed and water birds according to established schedules to ensure optimal nutrition.
• Clean and disinfect poultry houses and equipment to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Monitor flock health closely and promptly report any signs of illness or abnormalities.
• Collect, grade, and accurately record egg production data.
• Uphold biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks and maintain farm safety.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
• Effective communication skills in English and/or local languages.
• At least two years of documented experience working in the poultry industry.
