About the POS Field Auditor Role

As a POS Field Auditor with The Coffee Shop, you will play a critical role in verifying financial and inventory accuracy while monitoring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Your efforts will support the integrity of our operations and help maintain high standards at all sales points.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of stock, assets, and inventory at various POS locations.
• Perform detailed financial reconciliations, including invoices, cash, petty cash, bank deposits, and stock movements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements through compliance monitoring.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective measures.
• Carry out field visits to customers, agents, and branches to verify transactions and operational procedures.
• Monitor POS systems for any technical or equipment issues and report them promptly.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in auditing, internal controls, operational auditing, or a similar capacity.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is highly advantageous.
• Strong expertise in financial reconciliations and inventory management controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and report writing skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Zambia to perform field audits.
