Role Overview for Plumbing and Pipefitting Trainer Jobs in Chongwe

The Plumbing and Pipefitting Trainer will play a pivotal role in educating students through both theoretical instruction and hands-on practical training. Responsibilities include curriculum delivery, workshop supervision, assessing student progress, and enhancing the overall quality of the training program. This full-time position requires daily attendance at the FGCATS campus situated between Silverest and Chongwe.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive classroom and practical training in plumbing and pipefitting.
• Implement and support the established curriculum to meet industry standards.
• Supervise workshop activities ensuring safety and effective learning.
• Assess and evaluate student performance regularly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of training methods and materials.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Plumbing and Pipefitting or a related technical field (minimum requirement).
• TEVETA Trainer Qualification or TEVETA accreditation is highly desirable.
• Practical industry experience in plumbing and pipefitting.
• Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to student development and practical skills training.
• Good organizational and administrative capabilities.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
