Key Responsibilities for the Part Time Financial Consultant Jobs in Lusaka

• Supervise and guide the Junior Accountant by planning, reviewing, and directing their work
• Review and correct entries in Sage Pastel and FlexPayroll systems
• Ensure accuracy of draft financial statements through thorough review
• Provide expert advice on PAYE, ITX, WHT, VAT, and Smart Invoicing compliance
• Prepare draft tax computations and returns for Managing Director approval
• Identify financial risks, discrepancies, and monitor compliance deadlines
• Advise on cash flow management, pricing strategies, and financial performance to support consulting business growth

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of five years’ experience working with SMEs in Zambia
• Professional accounting qualifications such as ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CA (part or full)
• Strong knowledge of ZRA regulations, Sage Pastel accounting software, and FlexPayroll
