Exciting Panel Beater Jobs in Chibombo at TIM MOTORS ZAMBIA LIMITED

TIM MOTORS ZAMBIA LIMITED invites qualified professionals to join our expanding team at our 9 miles location in Chibombo, Zambia. Established in 2018 as an authorized SINOTRUK distributor, we specialize in sales and rental of heavy- and light-duty vehicles, construction machinery, and heavy equipment. We are currently recruiting for multiple full-time positions, including panel beater jobs in Chibombo, offering a dynamic work environment and opportunities to contribute to a leading automotive and heavy equipment company.

Available Positions and Key Responsibilities

1. Panel Beaters (2 Positions)

We seek skilled panel beaters to repair and restore vehicle bodies, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety compliance. Candidates will handle damage assessment, dent removal, panel replacement, surface preparation, and spray painting.

• Inspect damaged vehicles and determine repair requirements
• Repair and restore vehicle bodies to original condition
• Prepare surfaces and apply spray paint matching original finishes
• Use specialized tools and equipment for body repairs
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding progress
• Ensure timely completion and adherence to safety standards

Requirements:

• Craft Certificate in Panel Beating or Auto-Body Repair (Panel Beating and Spray Painting) or equivalent
• 2-3 years’ experience as a panel beater
• Strong knowledge of panel repair and spray painting techniques
• Experience working on trucks is an advantage
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently

2. Finance Assistant (1 Position)

The finance assistant will provide essential support to the finance department by managing invoices, maintaining records, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting to ensure accurate financial operations.

• Process financial records, invoices, and reconciliations
• Handle expense claims, file financial documents, and support audits
• Update financial spreadsheets and accounting software daily
• Support budgeting and financial reporting activities
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in finance or accounting
• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including financial functions
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

3. Sales Assistants (2 Positions)

Sales assistants will support the sales team by engaging customers, promoting products, and closing sales, contributing to the growth of our commercial vehicle and heavy equipment sales.

• Promote and sell commercial vehicles, construction machinery, and heavy equipment
• Identify new business opportunities and cultivate client relationships
• Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations
• Follow up on sales leads and close deals effectively
• Collaborate with marketing to enhance brand visibility
• Provide excellent after-sales support

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
• Proven experience selling commercial vehicles, construction machinery, or heavy equipment
• Knowledge of trucks, especially Chinese brands
• Strong marketing and communication skills; digital marketing is a plus
• Established government relationships and understanding of the Zambian market

• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
• Organizational and time management proficiency
• Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
• Chinese language skills are an advantage
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

4. Kitchen Assistant (1 Position)

The kitchen assistant will support food preparation and maintain hygiene standards to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• Assist with food preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times
• Support kitchen staff in daily tasks

Requirements:

• Certificate in food production, catering, or equivalent
• Previous kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good hygiene practices
• Experience preparing Chinese dishes is an advantage
