Position Overview for Overhead Crane Operator Jobs in Kabwe

As an Overhead Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe lifting and movement of materials, including steel products and raw materials, within our manufacturing plant. Your role is critical to ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a safe working environment. You will collaborate closely with ground personnel and supervisors to meet operational goals efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to lift, transport, and position materials safely and accurately
• Load and unload steel products, raw materials, and equipment in compliance with lifting plans
• Perform daily inspections of crane equipment, promptly reporting any faults or safety concerns
• Ensure proper rigging and use of lifting accessories at all times
• Maintain clear communication with ground staff to coordinate movements effectively

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid Overhead Crane Operator certification
