The Orders Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth order processing and customer satisfaction at the Mpongwe Flourmill. Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately receiving and entering customer orders into the system
- Verifying pricing, quantities, product codes, and customer details
- Coordinating with warehouse and inventory teams to confirm stock availability
- Providing timely updates to customers regarding order status, delays, or backorders
- Managing order changes, cancellations, and special requests
- Generating invoices, delivery notes, and shipping documents
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies, damages, or short shipments
- Escalating delivery issues and coordinating returns or replacements as necessary

Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 School Certificate
- Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in order processing, customer service, or administrative roles

Procurement Officer Opportunity in Mpongwe Flourmill
The Procurement Officer will manage purchasing activities, ensuring the supply of quality products and services at competitive prices. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and assessing purchase requisitions from various departments
- Conducting market assessments and obtaining supplier quotations
- Collaborating with departments to define specifications for procurement
- Processing purchase orders using Pastel and securing authorization
- Resolving supplier discrepancies and managing formal complaints
- Ensuring timely payments or prepayments to suppliers as per terms
- Verifying Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for accuracy
- Following up with suppliers on shipment status
- Coordinating with the weighbridge manager regarding weighable items
- Maintaining purchasing records, supplier databases, and price lists
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by management
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Degree in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
- Membership with the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS)

We are also seeking a dedicated Canteen Chef to oversee food preparation and service at the Mpongwe Feedmill canteen. Responsibilities encompass:
- Ensuring food quality and safety standards are met
- Maintaining cleanliness of the canteen and surrounding areas
- Timely preparation and serving of meals to employees
- Supervising canteen staff to uphold hygiene standards
- Managing stock orders on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Receiving and accounting for food supplies and meal coupons
- Preventing food shortages through effective planning
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reports
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management and Catering Services
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
