Role Overview: Optician / Optical Officer

The Optician / Optical Officer will provide expert eye care services including visual assessments, dispensing optical products, and educating patients on eye health. Additionally, the role involves marketing the centre’s ophthalmic and general healthcare services through community and corporate outreach initiatives. This position plays a vital role in expanding our client base by fostering strong relationships across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities in Optician Jobs in Kapiri Mposhi

• Conduct visual acuity tests and preliminary eye examinations.
• Dispense prescription spectacles and optical accessories accurately.
• Assist patients in selecting appropriate frames and lenses tailored to their needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Optometry, Optical Dispensing, Ophthalmic Nursing, Clinical Ophthalmology, or related field.
• Registration with HPCZ or NMCZ and possession of a valid practicing license.
• At least two years of relevant experience in optical practice or eye care services.
• Experience in marketing healthcare services is advantageous.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is an added benefit.
• Experience with insurance billing and marketing qualifications will be considered a plus.
