Role Overview: Network Planner Territory Manager Jobs in Lusaka
As a Network Planner/Territory Manager, you will play a critical role in preparing investment proposals and managing their approval process with zero errors. Your responsibilities will include gathering on-the-ground market intelligence to support site and station evaluations, conducting pre-inspections, and compiling detailed economic and technological reports. You will also oversee traffic counting activities and supervise the collection of accurate data to inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive investment proposals (IPs) and compile necessary documentation for approvals.
- Conduct market and zonal intelligence gathering to support site/station evaluation processes.
- Visit potential sites for pre-inspections and produce economic and technological feasibility reports.
- Supervise traffic counting operations and provide summarized results for analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and relevant authorities.
- Perform pre-due diligence checks with authorities such as RDA, ZEMA, and Ministry of Lands to ensure site compliance.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and prospects independently.
- Update the Master Plan and Zambia Economic overview using market information gathered on the ground.
- Manage company assets at retail sites to maximize returns effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or Business.
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project.
- Strong background in network development, project, and construction management.
- Financial acumen with the ability to analyze and manage budgets.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management, planning, or construction management.
- Assertive, analytical, well-organized, and a natural problem solver.
