Available Positions and Job Responsibilities
1. Assistant Accountant
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, the Assistant Accountant will maintain management accounting records, support resource utilization, and ensure accountability for company assets.
- Maintain ledgers and accounting records to assist in preparing financial management reports.
- Secure accountable documents and conduct periodic asset verification.
- Prepare receivables reconciliations and monthly client statements.
- Review invoices to ensure income accountability.
- Manage prompt collection, receipting, and depositing of sales proceeds.
- Handle payroll input and coordinate payments to external service providers and vendors.
- Generate daily management reports and track expenses against budgets.
- Manage petty cash and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely filing and payment of statutory returns.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12 with at least five “O” level credits including English and Mathematics.
- Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications (CA Zambia, ACCA, CIMA).
- Minimum one year of practical experience in accounting.
- Computer literate with proficiency in accounting software.
- Fully paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
2. Assistant Stores Officer
Under the supervision of the Stores Officer, the Assistant Stores Officer will help manage stock operations, ensuring proper maintenance and accountability of inventory.
- Allocate and transfer stock while conducting routine inspections for stock reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of stock movements, receipts, and issues.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Raise purchase requisitions and verify received items from suppliers.
- Issue stock against authorized requisitions and raise goods received notes (GRNs).
- Ensure safe custody of goods, protecting against damage and deterioration.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrectly supplied items promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12 certificate with five “O” level credits including English and Mathematics.
- Diploma in Purchasing and Supply.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Membership of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
3. Sales and Marketing Assistant
Reporting to the Manager, this role supports sales growth by managing marketing campaigns, processing sales inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Process sales inquiries, quotations, and sales orders efficiently.
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns to increase revenue.
- Research and analyze data to identify target audiences.
- Conduct promotional activities and oversee digital marketing efforts.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and report on trends across digital platforms.
- Organize and distribute financial and statistical marketing information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12 certificate with five “O” level credits including English and Mathematics.
- Diploma in Marketing, Business, or Communications-related field.
- Minimum two years of marketing experience.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of market research techniques, social media, and web analytics.
