Available Positions and Key Responsibilities

1. Field Dairy Extension Officer

This role focuses on supporting dairy farmers to improve milk production, quality, and farm management practices, ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality milk.

• Promote milk production and recruit new dairy farmers
• Conduct training on disease control, milk handling, and dairy management
• Provide technical support and conduct farm visits
• Collaborate with veterinarians and build strong stakeholder relationships

Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Agriculture or related field; experience in dairy farming or extension services; strong communication and teamwork skills.

2. Welder (Fabrication & Maintenance)

Responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to support manufacturing and maintenance.

• Perform Arc, MIG, and TIG welding
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts and machinery
• Maintain tools and adhere to safety standards
• Inspect and correct defects to ensure quality

Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate, Trade Certificate in Welding/Metal Fabrication, 2–3 years’ experience, ability to read technical drawings, knowledge of safety standards.

3. Trade Marketing Manager

Lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies to boost product visibility and sales across retail channels.

• Develop and implement trade marketing campaigns and promotions
• Conduct market research and manage retail partnerships
• Oversee budgets and collaborate with sales, finance, and product teams
• Lead and mentor the trade marketing team

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business (MBA advantageous), minimum 7 years’ FMCG experience with 5 years in leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in CRM, ERP, and POS systems.

4. Fitters (3 Positions)

Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment within the plant.

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on pumps, compressors, and gearboxes
• Maintain standby equipment and adhere to maintenance schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety standards

Requirements: Mechanical Diploma or equivalent, 3–4 years’ experience in food or related industries, strong practical maintenance skills.

5. Stores Officer (2 Positions)

Manage the receiving, storage, and issuance of supplies essential for daily operations.

• Conduct stock counts and inventory audits
• Maintain accurate records and verify goods against orders
• Ensure proper storage conditions and hygiene

Requirements: Diploma in Purchasing and Supply, minimum 2 years’ relevant experience, strong organizational and communication skills.

6. Electrician (3 Positions)

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.

• Perform electrical installations, inspections, and troubleshooting
• Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to emergency repairs
• Maintain detailed records and interpret electrical schematics

Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate, Craft Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, 2–3 years’ experience in electrical maintenance, membership in the Engineering Institute of Zambia preferred.
