Available Positions for Multiple Jobs in Kitwe

1. Tyres Clerk (1 Position)

Location: Kitwe

Main Responsibilities:

• Track tyres and casings daily and promptly using the tyre management system.
• Complete and submit daily stock reports to the Tyre Supervisor.
• Conduct detailed tyre inspections and maintain accurate tyre records.
• Manage tyre inventory through the tyre tracking and inventory systems.
• Issue tyres to vehicles as required.
• Prepare weekly tyre reports for submission to the Tyre Supervisor.
• Scrap tyres in the tyre management system as necessary.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate or Diploma in Records Management or Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport qualification.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in fleet management and tyre tracking is an advantage.
• Proven experience in a busy transport workshop environment.

2. Gate Checker (1 Position)

Location: Kitwe

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily stock checks on depot equipment including tarpaulins, serial chain binders, and corner plates.
• Manage truck handover and takeover procedures.
• Inspect vehicles for valid fire extinguishers, damages, missing equipment, cracked screens, and lights prior to dispatch.
• Ensure all licenses, permits, and insurance documents are valid before vehicle departure.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly equipment summary reports.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Grade 12 (Full Secondary School Certificate).
• Certificate or Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
• Computer literate with at least three years’ experience in a busy operational environment.

3. Tarper (1 Position)

Location: Kitwe

Main Responsibilities:

• Clean and wash tarpaulins regularly.
• Repair and mend tarpaulins as needed.
• Wash trucks and small company vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of depot surroundings.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 9 or Grade 12 Certificate with basic literacy skills.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in general work and housekeeping.
• Experience managing and maintaining fleet equipment is preferred.
• Energetic, organized, and flexible with working hours.
