Multiple Job Vacancies in Ndola at Chilanga Cement PLC

Chilanga Cement PLC, located in Ndola, Copperbelt, Zambia, is actively seeking qualified and motivated professionals to fill several full-time positions. We invite experienced individuals to apply for multiple job vacancies in Ndola, contributing to our dynamic team at the Ndola Plant.

Available Positions

• Quarry Engineer (1 vacancy)
• Driver (3 vacancies)

Quarry Engineer Role and Requirements

The Quarry Engineer will play a critical role in supporting our mining and cement production operations. Candidates must possess:

• A degree in Mining Engineering.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a related industry.
• Valid blasting licence.
• Current membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia.
• Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and procedures.
• Understanding of the cement production process.
• Computer proficiency, particularly with CMMS software.
• Expertise in AutoCAD.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including Root Cause Failure Analysis and Risk Analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Capacity to make decisions, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Driver Role and Requirements

The Driver position requires responsible individuals capable of supporting plant logistics and transport. Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Class B Driver’s Licence for manual vehicles; Class CE licence is advantageous.
• At least three years’ experience in a demanding work environment.
• Driver’s licence held for a minimum of five years.
• Ability to accurately complete log sheets and books.
• Effective communication skills in English and ability to engage with work teams.
• Competence in reading and writing gauge measurements.
