Role Overview: Membership Consultant

The Membership Consultant will play a vital role in managing member applications and maintaining accurate membership records. This full-time position is based in Lusaka and offers a monthly salary range of ZMW 15,000 to 20,000.

Key Responsibilities for Membership Consultant Jobs in Lusaka

• Register and underwrite all member application forms promptly and accurately.
• Load new business and membership applications into the system efficiently.
• Activate new members and process inclusions while managing member deactivations as necessary.
• Communicate membership rules and policies clearly to clients.
• Conduct regular membership reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Handle client queries and correspondence, escalating issues to relevant departments when required.
• Maintain and improve high service levels through continuous process enhancements.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, peers, and stakeholders.
• Provide assistance to walk-in clients, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Take ownership of personal career development and contribute positively to change initiatives.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage company resources responsibly within the scope of the role.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of a first degree in Insurance or a related business discipline is required.
• A Diploma in Insurance is an added advantage.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in an insurance-related role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and teams.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate team members.
