Role Overview – Medical Sales Rep Jobs in Lusaka

As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at EvenCare, you will play a critical role in generating leads, developing sales proposals, and closing deals with healthcare professionals including hospitals, pharmacies, medical institutions, NGOs, and doctors. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager or Managing Director, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence.

Your success will depend on your strong negotiation skills, deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and your commitment to improving medical care services throughout Zambia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions across the territory.
• Effectively promote pharmaceutical products by providing accurate information on usage, benefits, and features.
• Stay informed of regulatory updates and industry guidelines to ensure compliance and product knowledge.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets assigned for your territory.
• Prepare and submit detailed weekly and monthly sales reports, including activity summaries, forecasts, and market insights to management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, pharmaceutical science, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year sales experience, preferably within pharmaceutical or parapharmacy sectors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a competitive sales environment.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is advantageous; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
