About the Mechanical Engineer Position

This contract-based role offers an exciting opportunity to work on project-specific assignments within ECIG’s diverse portfolio. The Mechanical Engineer will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and supervision of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project requirements.

Key Requirements for Mechanical Engineer Jobs in Zambia

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or higher qualification.
At least two (2) years of relevant professional experience.
Valid registration with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
Possession of a current EIZ Practicing License.
Proven experience with mechanical systems installation, maintenance, inspection, or supervision.
Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Capability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.

Terms of Engagement

This is a project-based contract position with an anticipated duration of six months. Deployment will depend on specific project needs.
