Catholic Kasaria Eco Village is currently seeking qualified candidates for two contract positions based in Mufulira, Copperbelt, Zambia. We invite applications for a skilled Mechanic with experience operating a Tipper Truck (Sino Truk) and a dedicated Baker capable of producing high-quality baked goods. Mechanic Position Overview

The ideal Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the organization’s vehicles, with a specific focus on operating a Sino Truk tipper truck. This role requires hands-on mechanical expertise and the ability to perform routine and emergency repairs efficiently.

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, servicing, and inspections
• Diagnose mechanical faults related to engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
• Repair or replace defective parts and conduct breakdown repairs as needed
• Operate the Sino Truk (tipper truck) safely and competently
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
• Record and report all vehicle maintenance and repairs daily

Minimum Requirements for Mechanic

• Full Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma or Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics
• Valid Class C or higher driver’s license with a clean driving record
• At least one year of relevant work experience

Baker Position Overview

We are also looking for a skilled Baker who can consistently produce a high volume of bread and buns while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate responsibility, strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork abilities.

• Produce a minimum of 350 loaves of bread and buns daily
• Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

Minimum Requirements for Baker

• Relevant baking certificate
• At least one year of professional baking experience

Preferred Qualities

• Responsible and hardworking attitude
• Ability to perform duties with integrity and dedication
• Good communication and teamwork skills
