Role Overview for Marketing Officer Jobs in Lusaka
As a Marketing & Business Development Officer, you will work closely with the Brand & Partnerships Manager to execute marketing campaigns, manage digital engagement, and generate leads. Your responsibilities will span field marketing, customer relationship management, and supporting business development initiatives across Zambia. This position requires creativity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in the field to meet assigned targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Create and distribute digital content across platforms including Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, and SMS.
- Participate in activations, roadshows, and community outreach programs to boost brand visibility.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare weekly reports for management review.
- Generate and follow up on leads for products such as salary-backed loans, SME financing, solar solutions, and motorbikes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and community stakeholders to support acquisition and retention.
- Assist in identifying and developing partnerships with SMEs, institutions, and community groups.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic initiatives.
- Represent Panda Africa at marketing events and stakeholder engagements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience in marketing, sales, customer engagement, or business development is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Creative, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure to achieve targets.
- Willingness and ability to work in the field and meet assigned performance goals.
