Role Overview for Marketing & Graphic Design Jobs in Chilanga Lusaka

As a Marketing & Graphic Design Officer, you will collaborate closely with marketing agencies and printing partners to deliver high-quality promotional materials. Your responsibilities will include monitoring campaign performance, conducting market research, and assisting with the planning and execution of product launches and exhibitions. Your design expertise will be essential in creating compelling visuals for social media, packaging, and print, maintaining brand integrity throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing Duties:
  • Coordinate activities with external marketing agencies.
  • Track and report on marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Perform market and competitor analysis to inform strategies.
  • Support product launches, promotions, and exhibitions planning and execution.
  • Provide promotional materials to support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels.
• Graphic Design Duties:
  • Design engaging social media posts, flyers, posters, brochures, banners, and other promotional assets.
  • Create product labels, packaging artwork, and product mockups.
  • Develop designs for billboards, exhibition displays, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Prepare print-ready artwork adhering to supplier specifications.
  • Liaise with printers and packaging suppliers to ensure artwork accuracy and quality.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in marketing, graphic design, or a comparable role.
• Experience within FMCG, cosmetics, beauty, or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Canva, or equivalent design software.
• Strong understanding of social media marketing and content creation techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Creative mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Basic photography and video editing skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with printing processes and packaging design is preferred.
