About the Role: Manager Programme Accreditation Jobs in Lusaka

As the Manager – Programme Accreditation, you will oversee the accreditation and quality assurance of learning programmes offered by higher education institutions. Your leadership will guide the development and implementation of accreditation policies, ensuring timely and consistent auditing to uphold educational standards. The role also involves coordinating research, monitoring departmental performance, and managing resources to support the Authority’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the periodic development and implementation of policies and programmes guiding learning programme accreditation.
• Ensure timely accreditation of learning programmes to promote quality higher education delivery.
• Conduct regular audits of learning programmes to verify compliance with established standards.
• Manage research initiatives on quality assurance to support informed decision-making.
• Monitor and evaluate departmental programmes to assess service delivery impact and recommend interventions.
• Coordinate preparation of reports including the state of higher education accreditation and lists of accredited programmes.
• Oversee the preparation and management of the sectional budget for resource acquisition.
• Develop work plans and implement the Annual Performance Appraisal System (APAS) to enhance staff performance.
• Effectively manage staff and resources within the section to achieve departmental goals.

Minimum Requirements

• Full Form V / Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, or a Social Science discipline from a registered or recognised higher education institution.

Relevant Experience

• At least six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years in a middle management role within university administration, consultancy, or research.
